Climate Smart has gone national with its award-winning program that helps businesses profitably reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions – turning carbon risk into opportunity.

Partnering with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and with funding support from HSBC Bank Canada, Climate Smart’s practical, solutions-based program is now available in major cities across Canada.

Over nearly a decade, Climate Smart has helped hundreds of businesses, across all sizes and sectors, to improve their energy, fuel and waste footprints and save costs. The program leverages the business case for GHG reductions – including improved operational efficiencies, cost savings, employee engagement, and benchmarking data – adding up to increased competitive advantage.

Climate Smart trained businesses not only stay ahead of the curve preparing for a low carbon economy, but they also join an extensive network of businesses that are developing cleaner, more efficient and profitable ways of doing business.

The Opportunity

With support from HSBC Bank Canada, businesses in Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB; Toronto, ON; and Montreal, QC are invited to participate in Climate Smart’s practical and solutions-based program to profitably reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions – and prepare for and participate in the low carbon economy.

HSBC Canada is partnering with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce to bring Climate Smart’s award-winning program to businesses across Canada. Climate Smart has helped hundreds of businesses, of all sizes and sectors, improve their energy, fuel and waste footprints and save on associated costs.

The Climate Smart program equips businesses with tools and resources to reduce losses from ineffective energy, fuel and waste management. Through small-group training sessions, expert one-on-one coaching, and customized reporting and analysis, businesses are set up to future-proof their operational costs with a reliable return on the investment.
