Elizabeth Sheehan honoured with Canada’s 2018 Clean50 award!
We are proud to share that our very own, Elizabeth Sheehan, has been named a 2018 Canada’s #Clean50 Award Honouree, in the Educators and Thought Leaders category.
Elizabeth was amongst approximately 120 past and incoming Clean50 Honourees meeting last week at the “Clean50 Summit 7.0” on Toronto Island, to spend a day amongst peers and colleagues tackling common sustainability challenges. We were humbled to be amongst other Clean50 leaders from across Canada and look forward to finding new and innovative ways to collaborate with fellow honourees. Low Carbon Partnership peers, Brent Gilmour of Quest, and the Natural Step, were also recognized and in attendance.
Canada’s Clean50 Awards are announced annually. The criteria in determining Honourees is to consider actual measurable accomplishments, demonstrated innovation, collaboration with other organizations, and the power of the Honouree’s contribution to inspire other Canadians to take similar action. Elizabeth Sheehan was chosen after rigourous screening and research by Delta Management, with advice from internal researchers and external advisors, and was among Honourees selected from an initial pool of approximately 600 well qualified nominees.
